Recreation Soccer
We provide two Recreational Programs depending on the area that you live in. The first is based on the South Davis County Area for kids from age 4 to Seniors in High School. Our other program is in partnership with Sandy City Recreation where we help train and develop the 5 - 8 year olds within their city recreational league. We run Sandy City's 8 week Tiny Tots program in the fall and spring.Step-Up
Step Up is a development program for kids U6 to U8 (ages 6-8). For players at this age, the focus should be all about the player. Players will develop from learning and gain experience through playing the game. Working with Utah Avalanche licensed coaches will help players develop a love for “The World’s Game” and also the freedom of thought, play, and fun that comes in an environment where kids feel happy and confident to try new moves, turns and tricks!Juniors
Avalanche Juniors is designed as a fun instruction-based environment for 5 to 12-year-olds at both the recreational and competitive levels. Our program combines learning in a fun and positive environment, and the excitement of game day through small-sided games. The program operates under the simple philosophy that kids learn by playing. Everyone plays virtually 100% of the time, in both practice and games. There will be no lines and lots of touches on the ball.Competitive
Utah Avalanche Competitive Programs (U13 - U19) are the premier option for growing, learning, and developing in youth soccer. Our competitive program participates in the UYSA (Utah Youth Soccer Association) league as well as DPL (Desert Premier League – run by US Youth Soccer). Our Competitive Program builds on the foundation players have learned throughout their time with Utah Avalanche Juniors programs, including philosophy, the Avalanche curriculum, and The Avalanche Way.
ECNL - RL
(ECNL - Regional League)
The ECNL Regional League (ECNL-RL) was founded to improve the daily environment for youth soccer players through a collaborative club-based development program featuring competition, player identification, and coaching and club development platforms. The Regional Leagues are a development platform for clubs that fuel the continued holistic development of players and provide a proving ground for future competitive opportunities for teams and clubs.
ECNL
(ECNL - National League)
The ECNL was founded in 2009 as a challenge to the status quo of youth soccer, with a vision to be better. In its first years, the league supported only girl's programming, but in 2017, the landscape again demanded more and the ECNL Boys was founded, setting the stage for an amazing period of rapid growth, increasing quality, and further change in youth soccer.
WPSL
Women's Premier Soccer League
Founded in 1998, the Women’s Premier Soccer League is the longest active women’s soccer league in the United States.The WPSL strives to provide the highest level of developmental opportunities for amateur players and team rosters consist of highly skilled female players from collegiate, post-collegiate, international, and stand-out prep athletes. Men's United Premier Soccer League
Utah Avalanche has a rich history in youth soccer and as we look to play our part in growing the greatest sport in the world a natural step was for us to form a team for men to continue to play the sport at a high level. This season is short, running from May to July and we are excited to see some of our Alumni out there competing in an Avalanche jersey once more.
