Competitive Soccer

Utah Avalanche Competitive Programs (U13 - U19) are the premier option for growing, learning, and developing in youth soccer. Our competitive program participates in the UYSA (Utah Youth Soccer Association) league as well as DPL (Desert Premier League – run by US Youth Soccer).

Our Competitive Program builds on the foundation players have learned throughout their time with Utah Avalanche Juniors programs, including philosophy, the Avalanche curriculum, and The Avalanche Way.

Competitive soccer is for focused, highly motivated, talented players, who want to experience the enjoyment and developmental benefits that come from a) professional coaching, b) a high volume of soccer, and c) training and competing with like-minded players.

Training and game locations will vary depending on level of play and location of each team. Team sizes may vary depending on age and level of play.

Our Avalanche Competitive player placements and team formation takes place in May during tryouts, with training starting in June and progressing through the spring of the following year, with various breaks planned over the year.
