Licensed HVAC Contractors

There are a lot of contractors in Park City and the Salt Lake valley, most making the same promises and offering to use what may seem like the same equipment. However, there are major crucial differences between companies and it is important to choose the right one for your job. Picking a company with experience and training is a major first step, but there is more that you should look for before letting someone into your HVAC systems. They should have great customer service, be up on all the latest technological developments in heating and cooling, make safety a top priority, and be confident enough in their work to offer a guarantee.

HVAC Licenses, Certifications & Designations

Each member of the Strand team holds a variety of licenses, certifications, and designations that lend to their expertise and abilities. Included are:

  • Utah Contractor license
  • NATE Certification: The North American Technician Excellence (NATE) certification is a nationally recognized and respected certification for HVAC and refrigeration technicians.
  • Excellence Certification: HVAC technician certifications include the professional level and the master specialist level.
  • EPA 608 Certification: The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) now requires all people with access to a system or container that stores refrigerant, including A/C coolant such as R-22 or R-410A, to have the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) 608 certification.
