• Consider alternative air conditioning methods: Swamp coolers and geothermal cooling are both great ways to lower your monthly utilities while helping to conserve natural resources.
• Close blinds and windows: While the breeze feels great at night when it is cool out, closing up the house before the daytime temperature rises will keep your cooling bills down.
• Monitor the thermostat: There isn’t really a need to have the AC blasting while you are at work all day, and adjusting the thermostat before you leave in the morning can save you a bundle.
