Utah Solar Heating Solutions
Take your heating bill off the grid with solar.
Heating With Solar
Up here in the mountains, we have so many clear and sunny days that you can not only solar power your home, but also efficiently and effectively heat your home using solar energy. Active solar heating systems use solar power to warm either liquid or air, depending on whether you have forced-air or radiant floors, that then feeds directly into your heating system or into a storage tank. When done right by experienced professionals, a solar heating system is an effective and
eco-friendly option for keeping your Park City home or business warm all winter long.

Types Of Solar Heating
There are two types of
solar heating: liquid systems and air systems. Liquid systems use solar power to heat a liquid that is then forced through a radiant heat system or into a reserve tank for later use. Liquid-based systems can also be used for forced-air heating, absorption heat pumps, and hot water radiator boilers. Air-based active solar heating uses solar energy to heat the air, which is then pumped into the house through a forced-air system.
Home Solar Heating
It is easy to heat your entire home using solar when you have the right system. If your house has central heat, a liquid-based active solar heating system is probably best for you. Supplemental (also called backup or auxiliary) heating systems can also be used when there is not enough solar-powered heat. We will work with you to determine the perfect solar heating system for your home.
Solar Power Rebates & Incentives
The State of Utah is offering great rebates and incentives to property owners who install solar power in their homes. We will ensure that your new system is up to code and all the proper permits and paperwork are in order so you can take full advantage of this opportunity. Between Utah’s solar incentives and the huge savings on your power bill, going solar pays for itself more quickly than you can imagine.
